I have recently begun to follow Michaela Boehm and have fallen completely in love with the simplicity and POWER of her methods. This book is perfect both for women who want to reconnect with the deep, wise, intuitive feminine that calls to us (but we don't listen) AND for practitioners who want to work with women reconnect with their body (therapists, coaches, nutritionists, yoga teachers, etc.). As a practitioner myself, I always know I need to do my own work in order to be of service to others. This book is just what I was needing at this point in my journey!
I have enjoyed Michaela's practices and work for a few years now. I was intially attracted to her as the only student of D. Deida. Gradually, as I learned that she has been a Tantra practitioner with her own lineage of women, I was even more interested in her work. I found both her podcasts and the book very down to earth, no-nonsense and easy to relate to. The book is well written. The style is modern and easy to follow, it is well organized and it translates in a simple language practices of trauma release and embodiment, which are crucial in order to live an orgasmic and wild life as a woman.I will not necessarily say that I have found many new for me practices, but I have also practiced Daoist tantra and regular tantra, where sensitization of the body, releasing stuck emotions and even cathartic practices are the foundation to free up the energy. Still, I feel that the way Michaela presents the same practices is very useful for any beginner on the Tantric path... In fact, Michaela proves it to me that Tantra does not have to be complex and esoteric. It can actually be very easily part of our daily life. Moreover, in a very fluid and relaxed way it can help us step out of the mental matrix of problems, pain and contractions into sensiality, aliveness, relaxation and joy.I also loved getting deeper into Michaela's aproach of polarity in relationship. She poses some good reminders about not only how to enter a relationship, as well as what the barriers might be typically for a woman, such as dreamig a potential for her man and losing herself in expectations that her partner might become ''his best self'', when he might not really intend it, as well as waiting for a white night and a savior.
